1. Who We Are. Urban Hostess is the leading online marketplace that connects consumers to professionals that compete for their business across a variety of services. There are more than 100 participating partners on the Urban Hostess Exchange. Urban Hostess also maintains a nationwide network of more than 20 real estate professionals that the Company matches with consumers in the process of renting, buying or subletting a residence.
2. Information We Collect. There are several areas on the Urban Hostess site where you may be asked to enter both personal and non-personal information. We share personal information about you to participating real estate professionals, recruiters and or other parties involved in your transaction, or as may be required by law or court order.
Information we receive from you on realty. When you come to an Urban Hostess site to complete a qualification form you'll need to provide personal information such as your name, contact information, residential information, budget and other financial information depending upon your expressed real estate preferences.
Information we receive from you on employment. When you come to an Urban Hostess site to complete a qualification form you'll need to provide personal information such as your name, contact information, employment information, academic history information depending upon your expressed employment preferences.
Information we collect related to discounts offered on the Urban Hostess website. When you come to an Urban Hostess site to complete use a discount you might need to provide personal and financial information such as your name, phone number, e-mail address, credit card information and other financial information depending upon your purchase plans. Urban Hostess will record credit card information for the sole purpose of fulfilling an orders. Credit Card information will not be used for any other purpose. Credit card information will not be shared with any other party. Upon completion of an order, credit card information will be deleted Participation in this service is completely voluntary and it is your choice whether or not you wish to disclose your personal information to us.
3. How your information is used. We use the information you provide on your apartment or job search to match you with up a real estate professionals or recruiter based on your needs. Vendors will also receive your information when a purchase is made. Urban Hostess may also share certain aggregated data with our advisors and other third parties for general marketing and demographic purposes; however, this data DOES NOT include any of your personal identifying information.
Sharing information with our participating real estate professionals and recruiters. At your direction (when you click on the "Submit" button), the information that you provide to us on the realty or employment request will be sent through the Urban Hostess system and presented to participating brokers and recruiters who offer the types of products you have requested. By completing the job or apartment search form, you authorize Urban Hostess to transmit your request form to a real estate professional or recruiter. As our real estate professionals and recruiters may keep and use your information whether or not you find an apartment or job through the Urban Hostess service, we recommend that you contact them directly for more information about their specific privacy policies.
Changing your information. You may be able to review and change personal information in a realty or employment request that you completed through Urban Hostess online by re-submitting your information. If you are unable to complete this online, you may contact our info@urbanhostess.com.
Deleting your information. We store your submitted information for various periods of time. For recording purposed, we cannot delete information from our databases.
Request to stop receiving emails from us. Periodically, Urban Hostess may send you emails to alert you to new news or special offers. If you do not wish to receive any of these offers, please unsubscribe from our email list of email info@urbanhostess.com.
If we make a change to our Privacy Policy in the future that will affect how we treat your information, we will notify you of the change. In that case, your ability to opt out of the new policy will be determined by applicable laws and we will include that information in our notification. If the change impacts how we use your information, we will notify you even if you have requested that we not contact you.
